Based on experience: $50,000
to $56,000

Fast-paced environment, work
under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention

periods of time, be able to physically construct or demonstrate construction of
materials on-site.

Architectural Technology
Qualified candidates must be
able to design and support the architectural technology requirements of Green
Wall projects, including but not limited to:
á Shop drawing development in AutoCAD and seeing through
to sign-off by Project consultants, GC and Owners
o
Layout of Green Wall system
á Structural
engineering coordination, specification and detailing in AutoCAD for
o
Identifying and specifying fasteners based on the
structural that will be attached to and the building envelope requirements.
o
Design and detail of metal free-standing structure
designs, including welding strength / quality requirements, fasteners requirements,
metal type and thickness specification.
o
Coordinate with local project structural engineers
for review, detailing and stamping of shop drawings as required on a project by
project basis.
á Building
envelopment engineering coordination, specification and detailing in AutoCAD
for:
o
Based on structural type and LEED requirements,
perform the design, detailing identification and specification of the
¤ fastener
waterproofing method and gasket requirements,
¤ walls
waterproofing method identification and flashing requirements,
¤ gutter
waterproofing method identification, flashing requirements, and drainage
connection point waterproofing
¤ trim
waterproofing method and tie-in requirements
o
Coordination for review, detailing and sign-off by
building envelope engineering as required on a project by project basis.
á Mechanical
engineering coordination, specification and detailing in AutoCAD
o
Plumbing
¤ Specification
of line size, flow rate and water pressure based on size of Green Wall, flow
rate of irrigation emitters, size of irrigation zones and water quality.
o
Air Circulation
¤ Specification
of filter thickness, density and pressure drop as it relates to the building
HVAC equipment specifications.
á Electrical
o
Irrigation systems
¤ Specification
of electrical requirements of irrigation controller, flow and freezing sensors,
pump relays and light relays.
¤ Specification
of wire gauge size based on signal loss over lateral and wire density within
electrical conduit.
o
Pumps
¤ Specification
of electrical requirements of pumps, pressure sensors, and relay communication
lines.
¤ Specification
of filter pump frequency, number of pumps, graduated screen size of each pump,

Lighting (on interior Green Walls)
¤ Specification
of lamps, colour temperature and foot candle requirements based on coordination
with the GSky horticulturist to meet the plants minimum lighting
requirements.

of waterproofing for sealed gutter and trim system

costs, materials and schedules
Irrigation Technology
Qualified candidates must be
able to design, build, install, support and manage the irrigation requirements
of Green Wall projects, including but not limited to:
á Central Control Irrigation Systems
á Remote
Monitoring and Management using POTS and GSM modems
á Flow Sensor
Technology and Reporting
á Freeze Sensor
Technology and Automated Winterization
á Injection Pump
Technology for Fertilizer, Fungicides and Pesticide application
á Grey Water
Filtration and Recirculation Technology
Training / Supervision / Inspection /
Installations
Qualified candidates must be
able to work with contractors to train, supervise, inspect and sign-off on Green
Wall System Installations for warranty issuance, including, but not limited to:
á Organizing and running Green Wall training sessions
for:
o
Worker Training for Installation
o
Technologist Training for Green Wall Architectural
Technology
o
Irrigation Technologist Training for Green Wall
Irrigation Technology
á Supervising
Green Wall installations, identify deficiencies during installation, specify,
document and communicate deficiency resolution, follow-up to ensure resolutions
have been installed to spec, provide written sign-offs to verify resolution.
á Supervise
Architectural technical staff.
á Monitor and
Inspect Green Wall installations, identify deficiencies after installation,
specify, document and communicate deficiency resolution, follow-up to ensure
resolutions have been installed to spec, provide written sign-offs to verify
resolution.
Support
á Remotely Support Contractors and Maintenance Personnel
via Phone, Email and Fax.
o
Document issues over the phone and through digital photographs
and be able to develop support inquiry resolution plan, document plan and
communicate plan with contractors and maintenance personnel through to
resolution.
Computer Skills
á Mac Office environment, experience in Mac OS X with
Mac Office 2008 preferred
á Expert in
AutoCAD 2006 or newer

thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding
